What are sample wedding dresses?

Sample gowns are floor samples that were used to try on during an appointment at Alexandra’s Boutique. While other dresses come directly from the designer, these dresses have been discontinued and are no longer can be ordered.

Most dresses are brand new and in perfect condition. However, some dresses could have small imperfections that may need to be fixed. Our sample gowns range in dress sizes from 6 to 28. Please keep in mind that all sample wedding dresses can be altered to fit a smaller size or let out to fit a larger size.

Do I need an Appointment?

Appointments are required for weekdays and recommended on the weekend. Walk ins are allowed on the weekends.

Which designers are available in the Sample Store?

We carry a large range of designers that vary depending on season and availability. Check out the Alexandra's Boutique website to get an idea of what designer's products we carry.

What is the condition of the wedding dresses?

With over 1000 wedding dresses in stock at the Alexandra’s Sample Store, we have something for every bride. We choose only the highest quality sample dresses to sell in this store. Some sample wedding dresses will show some minor imperfections that can easily be repaired.

Some of our wedding dresses are brand new never-tried-on dresses direct from the designer, but have been discontinued and are no longer available to order.

How often do you get new sample wedding dresses?

We receive new dresses from Alexandra’s Boutique once a month.  We also receive new dresses from our designers many times throughout the year depending on the designer’s inventory and which dresses they are discontinuing.

Do you place gowns on hold?

Unfortunately, we are not able to place wedding dresses on hold. All gowns are sold on a first-come first-serve basis. So please make sure you come prepared to purchase the gown you fall in love with!

How do I pay for my wedding dress?

Gowns are paid in full at the time of the purchase and taken with you. We accept all major credit cards and cash. Sorry, but we do not take checks. Please note that all sales are final and that there are no refunds or exchanges allowed.
